A fairly leisurely sail down to the start of the link. Already a fair number of boats assembled so rang CRT to ask if they had any objections to us mooring in the top lock to maximise space. Given the number crossing tomorrow they were happy with that and it left some space available for later arrivals. I took the bike out to get some milk and got a bit lost on the way back. There's a confusing mess of cycle paths and roads round there. Ben was very keen to get the kayak out so he spent the rest of the afternoon and early evening paddling south towards Preston.
